What Sun's ODF plug-in looks like Since many people will be wondering what Sun's new ODF plug-in might look like, here are a few screen shots that illustrate its behavior. The first screen shot shows the options dialog of Microsoft Word 2003 where ODF can be selected as the default file format:
The next screen shot shows an ODF document taken from the OASIS ODF TC website opened in Microsoft Word 2003:
And the screen shot below shows the same document opened in StarOffice 8:
As mentioned in the Sun announcement, the download files for the plug-in will become available in mid February. Thus, you have to wait just a few more days until you can play with the software yourself.
