"Firefox users can get unofficial Google add-ons"
"Q:I installed Mozilla Firefox on my home computer and tried it out for a few weeks. I was very disappointed in the results. It won't accept the Google toolbar. It won't load or connect to the ActiveX software downloaded and installed on my computer. I'm back to using Explorer, with all of its security risks.

A:For nearly a year, experts have been recommending that Internet users switch to a browser other than Microsoft Internet Explorer. This advice followed a June 2004 warning from US-CERT, the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team, that pointed out a security vulnerability in Internet Explorer and urged computer users to minimize risks by using another browser, especially when viewing untrusted Web sites and HTML-based e-mails.

Many users subsequently have chosen to switch to the free Mozilla Firefox browser. Firefox does not support VBScript or ActiveX technologies, which hackers often use to attack computers, and the browser also does not allow spyware and adware to automatically install while users simply view Web sites, according to Mozilla."

why would anyone want a google toolbar for? there is an google search button build in!
