Just switch! - What would you like to know about StarOffice? According to some feedback that I received from non-Sun email accounts, it looks like some people are actually reading my stuff and are finding it useful. Thanks a lot for the input!
I still have quite a few ideas what I can write about here in my blog, but I'd like to hear your ideas, too. Just comment on this blog entry and let me know what comes to your mind!

I'm interested in hooking up OpenOffice to various open source CMS systems. The guiding points are: re-usable content and collaboration.
As I think through this, I stumble across some small issues, such as: how do I encode in a passage that it came from somewhere else? I tried a custom namespace but this was stripped out in the parser (1.1.x). Perhaps XLink? How would I do this via the Macro API? Perhaps I'm looking at it all wrong?
Then, larger issues: do I really want the data itself, or some view setup by a programmer that renders it into a presentation (OOo markup)? For example, showing all the resumes in a job database requires formatting the data, and I don't think average people want to do so.

Your tutorials are most helpful and I'm impressed by the XForms support in OpenOffice. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, I would benefit from a download link to the completed .odt file. For certain tasks I learn better by deconstrucing the example, while for others I learn by following the steps.
In general, I'm looking for a rich example of XForms usage in OpenOffice in order to test the feasibility of OO for a rather high-profile application. Advice on where I can find some elaborate examples would be most appreciated.
