I hope that Microsoft will also add support for OpenDocument into their products. Otherwise I'm afraid OpenDocument doesn't stand much chance to become a much used format. Many people will just not bother with it if it remains much safer to just save into Doc format for example which almost any application can read reasonably well. One firm here uses OOo on computers for workers. But management people don't have OOo and only use MS Office and so now they have special courses to teach workers how to set OOo to save documents in MS formats so they can send them to management. Not very nice. Maybe we need to put some pressure on MS to add support for OpenDocument.
