OpenOffice.org on Dell PC's Just in case you did not notice, Dell just started shipping OpenOffice.org via their Ubuntu bundling. Pretty cool!

That's obviously because with Ubuntu, you don't have too many choices if you want a decent office suite...OO.o is basically your ONLY choice. With Windows, at least you have more choices - MSO, OO.O, WordPerfect Suite, Lotus...etc...

Still I think is a good idea on keep on with the push so Windows boxes ALSO ship with openOffice.org

I agree this is a good step, but how about OpenOffice.org pre-installed on all their computers. You could buy other suites if you want, but for no additional cost you have a fully functional office suite. This should be their default setup.
Maybe Sun should get a marketing arrangement for StarOffice to be Dell's standard install, or be a low cost "upgrade" to OpenOffice.org preinstalled...
