Useful input? The author advocates the same "everything but the kitchen sink" functions be added to Firefox. This is the same mentality that led to the Mozilla Suite being bloated. And the idea of a JCP-like system is rediculous. Firefox has succeeded because, instead of the community-controls-the-world style of product building, a couple of guys said "I'm going to do it the way I think it should be done." Unlike the Mozilla suite developers, the Firefox developers learned to say "No." I strongly believe the author's feedback is not good feedback, and I hope beyond everything that the Firefox developers continue to confidently say "No."

Daniel,

Thanks for your comment! Just to be clear, I did not say "good" feedback, but "useful" feedback.

Most people did not like the integrated desktop feature in StarOffice 5.2. However, I still hear user feedback saying that they really liked the feature. Thus, sometimes there might be a small segment of users who prefer a specific tool or feature. If this small user group should be supported is a different question. Erwin
