"Why does anyone use Internet Explorer?"
"I spend a lot of time in front of a computer every day surfing the Web. I can't remember the last time I saw a popup of any kind since I made the switch to Mozilla Firefox. Why isn't everyone using this browser?"

Fear of the unknown. It took a while to get my dad to try Firefox, but I eventually installed it for him and he was like, "Hey, this is better!"

Firfox can sell itself once people _try_it_. Getting to that point is the challenge.

You do know that pop ups are Flash based now? No blocking for that..... :-(

This is for the earlier commentor. Firefox has extensions that can be easily installed. For flash related, there is one called Adblock that inserts a small transparent "Adblock" tab over Flash ads and one has to just click it to stop getting those forever. Another one is called Flash Block which has been improving by day.
