Many of you may have already noticed that Sun is awarding people who are entertaining themselves and leaving their works behind with $5000 USD.

Well, perhaps I should rephrase that a little; otherwise I have a feeling that I will get a lot of .... *comments* ..... to this post.  The Sun Temple Contest is a game for developers who know Java, C, C++, or computer science in general.  In the game, you will be an explorer, a special kind of explorer; that we give you the honorable name: developer.

Your goal is to finish the game....., which is goal for most of the games, except, you will be encountering many FUN puzzles along the way to your $5000 USD.  And in order to clear the puzzles, you need to apply your computer science knowledge.  (I have personally tried the first level of the game and the puzzles were about C++ programming as well as some general QA stuff, but again that was just level 1).
Hence, any of you can try, but just be prepared with the puzzles and the price will be yours!!

You may try to play the game up to level 5 and then you will need to register yourself to Sun.  Now, here comes the important message:

 

For the University of Toronto Students or Faculty Members, Please enter "University of Toronto" in the company field of the registration form.

That way, the world will know that the $5000 USD went to the University of Toronto.  (I am not being bias, but .... ummmm, I don't know how to excuse myself :P).  Anyways, I hope all of you can try the game.  It's really fun, and I think you will feel so much more fun when you open your eyes in the morning and seeing the $5000 on your breakfast table.
