OpenSolaris: libmd - Message Digest library Last week I finally got libmd integrated into OpenSolaris and off my TODO list. It will be in snv_38.
This small library took much longer to integrate than I had initially hoped it would. It turns out that building libraries that have $PLATFORM specific filters isn't that easy yet and $SRC/lib/libmd [might take a day or two yet to show up in the source browser] shows one way to do it.
It also doesn't help when you take on the task of moving source around and touching every Makefile in the ONNV consolidation that references libmd5. The changes weren't what took the time here but the number of times I had to resync, including a few hairy ones that required manual conflict resolution that the Teamware resolve(1)/filemerge(1) couldn't handle.
