T5120 donated to Haskell Community

I just spotted on Darryl Gove's blog that Sun has donated a T5120 to the Haskell community. Fantastic. The goal is investigate how GHC (The Glasgow Haskell Compiler) can take advantage of the CMT architecture of the T5120.

Ah good old GHC that takes me back (ghc on SunOS 4.1.3 on sun4m!). I wonder if any of my code is still in the GHC libraries. This is a fantastic announcement. I've been thinking for a while now I'd like to get back to doing some Haskell programming and I've been considering adding DTrace probes to GHC - because I just feel it should have them!

Almost makes me want to be a student back at Glasgow again so I could work on it, I liked Haskell and I had a fun summer after graduation working on GHC
