Death To PDF Revisited
Having just re-installed my system from scratch with the latest build of Nevada I hopped over to Adobe's web site to see whether they have taken a few minutes to recompile Acrobat Reader on a Solaris X64 system.
And of course they haven't.
So I decided to phone them up and ask if I can buy a copy of Acrobat Reader for Solaris X86. I spent maybe 15 minutes on the phone, being passed from one person to another and enjoying the hold music. Of course in the end I got nowhere, but maybe if I make myself a big enough pain in the ass they'll start to listen. Email they can ignore very easily, but if enough of us start tying up their support people then they'll have to pay attention.

If you're a Solaris X64 user and you have a few minutes to spare, why not give Adobe a call. However be warned, their phone support people aren't the sharpest spoons in the drawer.

Well placed that call to Adobe... OH BOY love that overseas support. That is the first issue I have with them and any other USA company that does that to this nation.

As for having an x86 PDF reader..... NOT
