First law of thermonynamics has been repealed!
Found this clip of someone who claims to have a way to use water as fuel. It must be true, it was on FOX NEWS. Sheesh. Don't they teach physics in schools any more? Permalink del.icio.us | furl | slashdot | technorati | digg Comments [1]

While the description in the cited report is quite vague and perhaps a little misleading, I see no inherent violations of any thermodynamic principles. Energy is both inputted into the converter (electrical potential energy) and outputted (chemical potential energy). While at face value it is a little hard to believe that such a machine could efficiently convert a stable molecule like water into a different form, catalysts can do amazing things. Review your own physics a bit before claiming fault in someone else's knowledge.
