DRM: A surprising comment

I have yet to turn up an original citation for this comment, but the article at http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/6182657.stm remains surprising.

While I have always personally considered Bill Gates to be a business-savvy but technically-incapable idiot who was fortunate enough to be handed the early PC OS world on a plate by IBM, he appears to be finally wising-up about DRM, even though it may not be for all the right reasons...

Update:

Actually, the BBC article above may give more weight and significance to the DRM comment than was intended; to see the comment in its original context, have a look at http://www.micropersuasion.com/2006/12/our_sixty_minut.html.
