Reality and Classic Comics

So, the UK is about to get a Ministry of Justice. Meanwhile, the debate about what summary powers to give to the police rolls on.

I've seen this somewhere before. I wonder what the UK might look like in 2031, when it comes to law and order...

Ministry of Justice? It is a well known joke that government departments are named after what they are trying to prevent. Sadly I do not really think it is a joke.

Well, it certainly worked in Orwell's 1984 :-).

Also, I can't imagine Charlie Falconer ever turning into Chief Justice Fargo, so the Ministry will probably find itself a new head shortly...
