A sad day that was bound to happen. One that I dreaded for years. My favorite author, Mr. Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. died yesterday at the age of 84. A pack a day of Pall Malls (Pell Mells) had nothing to do with it. Your words have influenced millions and changed more lives than you could ever have known. Your voice was singular, and will be missed. And so it goes.
