Who am I?
What to do this weekend: hit the LA Auto Show Yes, it's that time of the year again: the LA Auto Show. Hundreds of cars, thousands of people, all standing around the Convention Center inhaling that intoxicating new car smell and fondling the leather seats. But it's more than a car show. It's one of the few rituals in LA, other than Dodger games, where races and colors mix easily around a common love. Guys who drive lowriders stand shoulder to shoulder with guys who drive rice rockets, and we all crowd around the Ferraris, knowing we're thinking the same thoughts, about how great it would be to tool one of those babies up the coast with a supermodel in the right-hand seat. High five, bro! Drive it like you stole it. Posted by davidleetodd ( Nov 29 2006, 08:19:27 AM PST ) Permalink |
