Real-time Java at OOPSLA 2008
It's that time of year again and for the second year I'll be giving a tutorial on "Real-time Programming on the Java Platform". This covers mostly generic RTSJ information, as well as some specifics on Sun's Java RTS Real-time GC mechanism, presented by well known "sanitation engineer" Tony Printezis.

The OOPSLA Chair persons would like me to extend this invitation to you all:

===========================

OOPSLA 2008

Nashville Convention Center
Nashville, Tennessee
http://www.oopsla.org/

Registration is now open for the 23rd Annual ACM SIGPLAN Conference on Object-Oriented Programming, Systems, Languages, and Applications

So what is in store? Here are some highlights of keynotes to entertain, inform and challenge you:

And there is more. Expect food for thought from Sonali Shah, Rebecca Wirfs-Brock, Mark Jason Dominus and David Gries.

There are also

and a lengthy list of practitioner reports, posters, demonstrations, the Onward! program and much, much more addressing a wide range of important new and well-established topics.

Please join me at OOPSLA 2008 in the heart of Nashville.
