Engineer Envy

On most days, I thoroughly enjoy my chosen profession with no thought of doing anything else. Yesterday, I wished I was an engineer. Here's why.

Hi Mike, I am a big fan of yours and Jonathan's blogs and openness. I think Sun's Project Blackbox is really cool. But is this the same idea as what Google had actually implemented at least before Nov 2005? See PBS's I, Cringely' posting, http://www.pbs.org/cringely/pulpit/pulpit20051117.html I suppose Sun sells and supports hardware and this is not something Google does for a living. I am also curious how is Sun's Project Blackbox compare, in terms of performance, to Google's current container box. Cheers, Kempton
