Blogging that is, so I thought I would succumb to the peer pressure and
join in. My name is Dilpreet Bindra and I am yet another piece of the
Solaris equation. I have been working on Solaris Fault Management
Architecture (FMA) for the past 2 years and have been at Sun going on 3
years. External to Sun you will be more familiar with FMA as a piece of
Predictive Self Healing, the other piece being the Service Management
Facility. In the near future I will be posting more interesting blogs on
FMA, stay tuned.About me:Started my career as a Hardware Design Engineer
for Hewlett-Packard in 1997. Moved on to kernel design with the HP-UX team
in 1999 and worked on the Itanium port. Started with Sun at the tail end
of 2001 and moved on to the Solaris team mid-2003.
