So Thanksgiving at the Lacher house went over well this year. This is the first year that my wife and I have hosted since we have been in our home. In attendance we had my wife's parents and her brother, all in from South Dakota. I am not sure if they brought the weather with them, but on Thanksgiving eve we had a snow storm roll in and dump six inches of heavy wet snow on Midland.

The actually feast went over rather well. The menu did not have any exotic on it, just the standard turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, relish tray, dinner rolls, cranberries, jello (two types), and some wine.

The only change is that the stuffing got a little dry, so I need to work on that for next time. Other than that the dinner was great... and we are just now finishing up the last of the leftovers.
