I thoght I would share some verses and lyrics that mean a lot to me as well as echo the words that Ivan Sutherland shared at SEC.

Casting Crowns has a song out right now titled American Dream. Wow these words are powerfull but is easy to see the power since they draw right from the source. This song is based off Mark 8:34-37 and Ephesians 5:25-33.

So this past Sunday in my home church the message was on this very topic. It is amazing how everythings weaves together in perfect harmony. So to furhter draw from the source on this I would point you to references in Matthew 7:24-25 and Matthew 16:26.
