Welcome to my day one wrap up of the SEC. I apologize if I misquote anyone from their talk... I am trying to keep people as covered as I can and also to make sure I don't say anything that will get me canned since this is an internal conference.

I was able to find Mary's poster and thought I would let you all see it. She is such a techo celeb.

The presentations that I sat in on today were all very interesting, the day started out with an opening from Greg. A large thanks to Ron Jeffries for his talk on Extreme Programming and Agile Software Development.

Now for the rest of my random broken thoughts and quotes...

Some interesting stuff that people found out about unix system administrators is that they prefer CLIs for configurations, maintenance, and trouble shooting... they might like a GUI for monitoring.

Buzzword compliant.... (this is was mentioned in a joking manner)

Innovation: Making money doing something in a new way.
