I just wanted to share one of the picture that we snapped while visiting the zoo a couple weekends back. That is my little girl (soon to be a big sister) watching a polar bear from under the water.

It was a great day at the zoo. The best part was hearing the new words that our little one learned and said. The two that were most prominent were broccoli and peacock. Every time that we saw a peacock she would announce "peacock" and then we were watching the snow monkeys playing and one reached down into a pool of water and picked up a head of broccoli and our little one pointed and said "broccoli". Okay, she knows what broccoli is and enjoys eating it has never said the word and for being able to recognize what it was from the distance was amazing. Here are some shots from the zoo.

Over this holiday weekend we are heading south (a bit) and going to the Detroit Zoo. It will be our little ones first time to a zoo so we hope that she enjoys is. She knows a lot of the animals names so we should have fun. They have a great exhibit called the Arctic Ring of Life and how much fun it is to be under water and watch the polar bears play in the water. I am sure I will have a follow up with pictures. Have a great weekend what ever you plan on doing. For what it's worth.
