OpenSSO Build 2 is Gone Daddy Gone

OK, you can still get Build 2 but why would you if OpenSSO Build 3 is now available for download. New features in Build 3 include:

  • JBOSS support
  • Geronimo support
  • OpenDS replication
  • Upgrade / Co-existence
  • Timed task changes in session and LDAP
  • New SAMLv2 profiles (AuthnQuery & Naming ID Mapping)
  • Legacy DIT support from AM 7.x DIT
  • Assorted issue fixes
Check out the README for supported web containers and workarounds. Instructions for deploying Build 2 on Glassfish can be found in this blog entry. Still worked for Build 3.

And since we're discussing two builds of the same thing, check out Gone Daddy Gone. First the incredible Build 1 by the Violent Femmes:

And now the mundane Build 2 by Gnarls Barkley (which offers no new features):

In the case of Gone Daddy Gone, I'm sticking with the original build.
