Breaks?

    In the Northeast, it's been a warm, mild winter, with not much snow. Which has helped break me out of the easy procrastination from enjoying the snow 'because I can do it anytime', so I took the boys sledding on Saturday. It was windier, and therefore colder than I expected, and it took me a bit to get over my 'rollercoaster' panic starting my first couple of runs, but we all had fun. My oldest actually said thanks, which makes would make it worth it even if it had been unbearable.

    But clearly it was not without risk, as my greater mass made me more likely than either of my boys to end up on this brink. This time I got a break, without brakes. Snow wet is one thing, ending up in a brook is another. :-)
