Shows on Sci Fi network....

Ok, not strictly "movies" - video entertainment.

Comments on shows currently running on the Sci Fi channel.

I recommend "Dead Like Me" and "Eureka"

"Dead Like Me" - quirky, clever funny/sad show about a team of "reapers" - people who are "dead" - sort of. They died in an "unresolved" state, so rather than going to their "final reward", they get to be reapers - they collect the souls of those just about to die. They also have really boring day jobs and hang out at a greasy spoon diner getting assignments from the team lead - Mandy Patinkin.   The lead "anti-hero" is a mournful young blonde woman - not an actress I recognized, but she plays the part very well. Jasmine Guy, and others fill out the ensemble. Two thumbs up.

"Eureka" is like "Northern Exposure" if it took place at  Area 51. A seemingly "normal" quaint Northwestern town (rain, fog, trees)  populated by genius scientists/physicists/etc who work at the local "lab/government contractor". Time travel, alternate space time continuums, AI driven houses, flying machines, exotic weapons,  etc. Our hero is the new Sheriff  - FBI guy who hasn't a clue, but is learning fast. Entertaining, amusing, quirky - worth a watch.

"Who wants to be a Superhero"    - Not sure I recommend this one. Watch it if you have Tivo or its ilk and can FF through the boring parts. Reality show for people who want to dress up as a "super hero". Hmm.  Stan Lee is the "creative genius" behind all this. It's a toss up between a Spongebob rerun and this. I would vote for Spongebob.
