Data corruption solved
There was a rather serious problem that developed in the database that supports docs.sun.com and many of the documents that had been published over the last 72 hours were damaged in one way or another. The root cause has been found and corrected. We had to have a brief outage (less than 5 minutes) to apply a patch to the database but at this point we are fairly confident that the data is now valid and any SQL errors that the application was generating have stopped.
