OpenSPARC teacher training@beijing, 10/31-11/2

It's my great honor to have the chance to speak in the OpenSPARC training this weekend. There are a total of 46 faculty members from 19 universities attending. In this training, I got to know Doctor Mike Hsieh and Doctor Xiaochun Gao in person. I really enjoyed the time with them and also so impressived on their experience including techincal skills and personal view and perspective of world nowadays. It was so amazing to chat with them, have fun and learn a lot.
Dr. Mike was borned at taiwan, has been lived at states since he was 26 years old, this is the first time to him to visit China, visit the modern city--beijing. Dr. Hsieh is the senior staff engineer and has worked in Sun for more than 20 years. Before joining Sun, Dr. Hsieh had also worked in Intel for 5 years, in Ford Microelectronics Inc. for about 2 years.
Dr. Xiaochun was borned at changqun, went to America at 1982, also it is long time to him to come back homeland. Dr. Gao is a staff engineer of Sun Microsystems Inc. working on leading edge, 28nm process, next generation ultraSparc microprocessor. He has over 24 years experience in Electronic Design Automation with major CAE-tool companies, e.g. Mentor Graphics, Cadence and Sun Micorsystems' internal CAD team.
