I want you all to know about this new expo for young people everywhere.

The Digital Open is an online technology community and competition for youth around the world, age 17 and under.

Think about this:

"What can you make with technology that will change the world—or even just make life a little easier or more fun?"

Friends check out this amazing Student offer for JavaOne this year- Students get in free!  Plus, you can sign up for CommunityOne at the same time.  Both passes are full conference passes with access to everything!  Educators (your professors) can also get in free when they bring 10 students with them to the conference.  If they aren't able to do this, they still get a fantastic deal of $895 for a full conference pass.

What is a Full Pass?

Prizes

• 1st Place: $25,000

• 3rd Place: $5,000

Student category: We will award three prizes at $1,500 each to the top three applications submitted by students. Student submissions will compete for the larger prize amounts as well, but only one prize per entry will be awarded.

Up to 100 honorable mention prizes of a $25 Amazon Gift certificate will be rewarded.

Did you guys know that the Intel Xeon 5500 is the latest generation processing core?
