Oh, you haven't?
Well, dude. Let me make some introductions.

Introducing the first stable release of the OpenDS Project,
OpenDS 1.0.0!

OpenDS is an open source LDAP directory written in - you guessed it - 100% Java.

You've got an awesome package with this one, folks. OpenDS promises:
  • Maximum, extensible interoperability with LDAP client apps
  • Directory-related extras, such as directory proxy, virtual directory, namespace distribution and data synchronization
  • Ability to embed the server in other Java apps

What's really cool is that, with the Java WebStart installer Quick Start, you can have the OpenDS server configured, up and kickin' in less than 3 minutes!
Lightspeed Java action? Sweet.

But, y'know, I may be a tad biased ;] Check it out for yourself!

Learn a little more about it at the OpenDS Wiki,
or download OpenDS 1.0.0 right now!
