Shark attacks predict economic bubbles, says boffin • The Register •

A top Florida fish boffin says that the global recession is causing a massive decrease in the number of shark attacks; "I've yet to find a surfer who says he or she won't go back into the water after a bite or a nip," says George Burgess, "They understand where humans fall in the grand order of things," adds the ichthyologist, evidently something of a species traitor.
