I've been working at Sun Microsystems in Austin, Texas for almost four years now as a Solaris kernel developer. I spend most of my time working on virtual memory management projects, but occasionally assist the Solaris 10 release staff with tracking down bugs in Solaris Express, and do kernel performance tuning. I hold a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. One interesting tidbit about me is that I've done almost no user-land programming in my career. I started off working on device drivers as an intern, and have been doing kernel software ever since. Maybe I'm psychotic, or maybe I've just chosen the better path. You decide. :)
