As mentioned before in my blog I was selected for the Sun Engineering Enrichment and Development (SEED) program for Q1/Q2 CY 2007. Today I'm up in the Bay Area attending the Spring SEED meeting which consists of various presentations. The topics were varied. Everything from what a Services Architect does, discussion of what it takes to get a Patent, to a cool hands on demo of the new SunSPOT sensor technology.

We also got a tour of the Sun Executive Briefing Center.

Unfortunately I've been slowly recovering from a nasty case of bronchitis all week. I think the trip up here set me back a few days for recovery. I was coughing so bad last night I had to sleep sitting up! Right now I'm in the OpenWork Cafe in MPK11 watching the beer bash from a comfortable chair. No beer for me. It doesn't go well with the cough syrup that is keeping my lungs from uncontrollable coughing.

Next stop is the Sun Labs bash for some more cool technology demos. Then a late flight back to San Diego.
