The first couple times I looked into setting up an OpenGrok server for a new project, I was quickly lost in unfamiliar territory and terminology about J2EE servlet containers and the like. There didn't seem to be a quick guide for someone who isn't a J2EE developer but who just wants to set up Tomcat and make it run an existing webapp. But I finally got around to plodding through it all and it's actually quite simple. Here I've tried to write simple instructions for doing it.

World's Smallest Bootable Solaris Media?
I partitioned a microSD memory card for sharing between my mobile phone (for storing photos, music, etc.) and a bootable Solaris system. It might be the world's smallest (in terms of the physical size of the media) Solaris installation.

Some people want to use
IPFilter
on Solaris 10 as a tool to allow use of networking
by non-global zones without allocating an IP address for each zone. It can be
