I partitioned a microSD memory card for sharing between my mobile phone (for storing photos, music, etc.) and a bootable Solaris system. It might be the world's smallest (in terms of the physical size of the media) Solaris installation.

Some people want to use
IPFilter
on Solaris 10 as a tool to allow use of networking
by non-global zones without allocating an IP address for each zone. It can be
done, although it's a bit ugly.
