New tool coming
Sun employees: expect to see a new tool for tracking volunteer hours coming online soon.
We're very excited about it.
I got to get a walk-through of it last week and it's really looking fantastic!
We have a technical team in Sun India led by Atishay Kumar to thank for it.
There's actually a lot we have Sun India to thank for. The team of volunteers in India lis among the most active at the company.
They're truly a role model for all of us.
I recently got to meet with one of the leaders of the team -- Vidya Srinivasan-- here in my office in the US.
We discussed the priorities we've got for the new fiscal year.
Highest among them (in the immediate term) is the roll out of the new tool.
We'll communicate to Sun employees via the regular channels with more details.
Just an early head's up that it's comming. And we think you'll like it.
