Reading Frenzy ... in Reading

I recently went on a reading binge, going through a bunch of my favorites in rapid succession. In two weeks I had read through:

Dune by Frank Herbert (plot summary)
Armor by John Steakley (plot summary)
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card (plot summary)
Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson (plot summary)
Neuromancer, Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive by William Gibson (plot summaries)

I've been looking around for more books, and came across Rich Burridge's review of Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell. So now that's on my wish list, thank you very much. Also I've been on the prowl for the Deryni Series by Katherine Kurtz. For now, I've been eyeing Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson, and so will probably read that again next.

If you like Stephenson and are looking for a treat, try his Baroque Cycle (Quicksilver, The Confusion, and The System of the World) and the Cryptonomicon. The latter came out first, followed by the trilogy---but the trilogy is somewhat of a prequel to the Cryptonomicon. This will more than fill your summer.

I read Dune and Neuromancer from your list. Liked both of them but I shall have to reread Neuromancer again sometime because it is quite a difficult book to grasp the first time. Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell is quite alright: a bit boring from time to time but if the like Victorian atmosphere a must read.
