Etc ...

Tuesday Sep 04, 2007

I once heard that the three biggest changes in one's life are -I think- marriage/divorce, birth/death, and moving (cross country or continent). In the past 1 year, I experienced two of these, at least to some degree. I got married and saw my husband (boyfriend back then) plan and move for a job change all the way from Germany to US. Since then I (we) moved from a place where I had lived with my mom for 8 years, and last but not least, we're expecting the third change - birth of our first baby in December. Quite a lot in the past year, I must admit. Slowly I'm getting into the routine of it all. We celebrated the first anniversary of our marriage just a couple of weekends ago... already. I'm grateful for that. It's been a wonderful year!

I'm free

Thursday Dec 07, 2006

Fall semester has ended! I took two gerontology classes at San Jose State University this term. I submitted final papers for both classes this week, and finally, I am set free from studying for a while! This semester was a drag. I barely made to classes and barely turned in assignments. I'm happy to be studying, but boy, am I happy that I don't need to worry about constant papers and exams to turn in like full-time students...
