Hyderabad Sun Tech Days, Day 1

Biggest ever in the history of India, here in Hyderabad International convention center the Sun Tech Days 2007 has been inaguarated on Feb 21st. It'll be of three days. This was launched in satellite cities like Pune, Mumbai and Delhi simultaneously. Across India, over 10,000 developers will be attending this event.

The Event started with the message from Jonathan Scwartz and an Introduction from Bhaskar Pramanik, MD Sun Microsystems, India. He is one person whom I always consider as a great speaker. He knows how to grab the audiance attention and he makes you listen to him all the time. His messages are always short, clear, crisp and bang on the head of the nail. This talk followed by Guest Speaker for the event, Ramalinga Raju, Chairman, Nasscom council. He spoke about change management. He stressed lot on the mantra of Satyam which is TDC(Thinking, Doing operation and communicating)

Then came the Keynote by our Executive VP Rich Green's Key Note address.
He gave a good foundation for the Sun Tech days and told developers what are they missing
if they are not using Sun Technologies. I was very happy to see him mentioning about Belenix and BOSUG. Belenix is flying high, at the end of the day, solaris CTO Jim Huggs also looked at the features of Belenix and telling KNR and Sumitha that lets inlclude these features in opensolaris. Belenix Rocks!

Later we had a technical demos from Simon Ritter, Rags, Srikanth Ramkrishna, Carol.

Those demos were real killers of the technology. What a demos. Hold your breadth, I'll be uploading the bits and pieces of those demos.

In the afternoon I had been to JNTU university to HOD of CS, they all are excited about Sun technologies, more later.
