Paperless Office: One Month Later
It is now a month and a few days after the establishment of my paperless office. At the time, I said I would have a pic taken a month later, to show whether I had maintained my paperlessness or whether I had succumbed to the constant paper pressure that is so prevalent in the modern world. Well, despite Roumen's occasional attempt to sabotage my good intentions, things are still looking good. Here's a pic Roumen took today, of me in work mode, with my pristine office in the background:
And I still haven't connected to the printer! Hurray, so I'm not generating paper. The only paper I ever have with me is the newspaper, i.e., the The Guardian, which I buy almost religiously every morning on the way to work. Three cheers for paperlessness. I must say it has really simplified my work life immensely. So much of the paper I had cluttering my desk consisted of meaningless notes and scribbles and doodles from meetings anyway. I never refererred back to them and was always afraid of throwing them away for fear of losing some vital information. That fear has proved completely unfounded. Plus, a world without paper is a world with more trees.
