Snowboarding in Schladming
After the NetBeans Certified Engineering course (see yesterday's blog entry), we went snowboading, taking advantage of being in Austria already. Schladming (Planai) is where we ended up. As an indication of how much it snowed, this was Jarda's car, after leaving it parked for one night:
It was the first time I had ever stood on a snowboard, so even being able to stand up at all was a great achievement, as indicated here:
Occasionally I even made some progress down the mountain, as can be seen here, more or less:
But this was my default position throughout the day, i.e., recovering after falling on my face:
All pictures during the snowboarding activity were taken by Jarda, because I was too busy making face prints in the snow...
