Changing a Windows Executable's Icon
NetBeans IDE 5.0 will be able to brand various aspects of a module suite project (click here for details). But, even though it'll go so far as to create a brand new executable for your application, it won't let you specify an icon for the executable (the icon that you will be able to specify is for the Help > About dialog box, not for the executable). Don't worry, though, there are at least two free on-line resource editors for customizing the executable's icon. Why not give them a try? Here they are:
I tried the first, Resource Hacker, and it was really easy to use.
