Completed CRUD Application on the NetBeans Platform
Today I completed the coding of a CRUD application on top of the NetBeans Platform, using data retrieved/stored via MySQL and EclipseLink:
Next week, I will create the 2nd (and final) part of the screencast on this topic. In the first part, the viewer is described (i.e., the tree structure in the left part of the application above), while the second part will focus on all the editing functionality, which includes a 'Refresh' action on the root node. Interestingly, perhaps, the viewer and the editor are in two separate modules. If you missed the first part, here it is on NetBeans.tv (and go here for off-line viewing):
All this is part of the promised 2009: The Year of Documented Business Scenarios for the NetBeans Platform. So, next week, or maybe even sooner, part 2 of the above scenario will be available on NetBeans.tv.

Hi,
Thank you for all the great tutorials. Do you know if the source code for the CRUD application is available somewhere? I couldn't find it...
Thanks.

I'm also interested in part 2. Will you have time to create it as planned?

It's all here, Christie. You don't need a screencast (though I'm still going to make it), since the whole content is here:
