NetBeans Client for Bugzilla Issue Tracking

I added some issues to the NetBeans MigLayout project today, using NetBeans IDE:

Then I went to the site on-line and saw that everything had been done as I'd have expected it to:

Pretty handy, being able to handle that, as well as view my issues and so on, from inside the IDE.

The only strange thing is the ID number. I'd have expected them to start at 1, instead of 522.

Yes, those numbers are funny...

The point is that Kenai.com does not provide you with dedicated capacities (for any services, including issue tracking). This is annoying especially when using the web interface of Jira/Bugzilla - if you open the online Jira/BZ, your project is listed among ALL other Kenai projects...

It is good that the NB IDE gives this architecture some "face-lift" and hides this quite well... (you see only issues for your projects)

i am somewhat familiar with developing netbeans platform applications.

do you know where i can find information on developing 'issue tracker integration' plugin for other issue tracking software like trac/redmine/etc?

is it going to be a netbeans module or something else (to create a, say Redmine connector)?

Thanks!
