Shot From the Hip

Saw Jerry and Jennifer (Jen) last night.  Talking about old times, I thought of Meadowlake and for a brief moment missed it.  Then came the flashbacks of arachnid infestations and their unholy spawn and I didn't miss it so much.  I do miss the fellowship though, and in the summer the ability to grill at any moment.  There's something about waking up on the weekends and being able to throw a piece of steak or a chicken thigh on the grill just because.  Hopefully there will be more BBQ's this year.  Here are a few of my favorite pics from a recent BBQ

First time really grilling corn.  Surprisingly tasty.  I'll need to grill corn more often now that corn it's in season.  Good corn is hard to find, but when you find it, man its good.
