Making Airport your home

As I was listening to Marian Finucane this morning. She interviewed some who had made a film about a person who have been living in the terminal 1 of the Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris, France, since 26 August 1988. How can anyone do that, though this sound bizzare and unbelievable; but it is true. You can read the story some some lengthy details here. I think the saddest thing is while he could leave now but after living there for so long, he is too afraid to live somewhere else.

Actually the movie "Terminal" staring Tom Hanks and Catherin Zeta Jones is about the story you mention. Although in this case its in NYC vs Paris. Its not half bad actually (the movie)

The second time I visited Japan, after the economic collapse, I saw people living in cardboard boxes in Tokyo's Shinjuku train station. The boxes had carpeting, pictures on the wall, televisions, furniture. The outside of many boxes were painted with very interesting artwork. I don't know what ever happened to Tokyo's "Box people."
