GLOSS has its newsletter out!!!!

The past academic year was very eventful at GLOSS and we decided to put the major events in form of a newsletter. So here we are, with the first issue of OpenView ! Get your copy here!

 

I deeply apperciate the efforts put in by  Harish,who was instrumental in designing the Newsletter. Efforts put in by Sanjeev, Abhilash and Vikas has also been very significant. Good work guys!

GLOSS is back with the Sun University Day!

When an excellent semester with lots of success is coming to an end, it is very much required that we at GLOSS celebrate it in a BIG way!! That's why we are going to celebrate our Sun University Day in Style!!


On Sunday, 13th of April, 2008 all you folks are invited to attend the Sun University Day at SASTRA! Come and spend a day with cutting edge technologies and get your hands on them! And as promised, its celebration time so come and celebrate with us.
[*] Your Lunch will be with everyone else at GLOSS (Its our Party!!)
[*] Certificates from Sun and GLOSS would be awarded to all the attendees!
[*] Many goodies and T-Shirts to be won!

Everyone at GLOSS is going to be delighted on the news of MySQL AB being acquired by Sun Microsystems for $1 billion! This is indeed an important day in the history of internet! Role of MySQL powering Web 2.0 is well known. It will surely add lots of value to this incredible database and MySQL community as a whole!
