It amazes me that more folks don't use Java Web Start. It combines the ease of deployment/management of applets with the power of a full blown J2SE runtime. Keep spreading the word!

i don't think folks get what javaws is, what it provides and how best to use it ... the later of which my little exercise of late sets about to dispell perceptions which are in turn a result of suboptimized deployments, for varying reasons none of which is javaws' fault.
