Duplicate folder handling in Thunderbird Trash

Found an interesting behavior in Thunderbird 2 Beta 2

Steps to reproduce:

1) create folder "test" (subfolder or folder does not matter)

2) delete "test"

3) create folder "test" (anywhere in the folder heirarchy)

4) delete "test"

The second delete will fail  with an error message that says "Folder already exists". It took me a couple of tries to realize that the Trash folder already had the "test" folder from step 2. So step 4 is not able to move another folder with the same name into Trash. For step 4 to succeed you have to empty trash first.

Should the Trash folder get special handling for duplicate folder names?
