You know you've been using OpenSolaris too much when...
... when you start typing "pfexec" in Linux instead of "sudo" and wondering why it doesn't work.
Time to "alias pfexec sudo" for me.

Hehe... Well, now that I've played with the package manager in OpenSolaris, I challenge that. I'd say everything is just as good in OpenSolaris and Linux. The only difference is that in Linux, when you do an OS upgrade, or a series of packages upgrade and it breaks your system, you're in serious trouble (and believe me, I've lived through a few of those).
With OpenSolaris, every time you upgrade something from the package manager (packages, or full OS distribution) there is a snapshot of your boot environment that gets created (it's instantaneous, and takes almost wero space - thanks to ZFS)... If you aren't happy with the upgrade, just go to the boot environment manager, select to boot from one of the previous BEs and voila... (or do that from GRUB if your new BE isn't even bootable). Seriously, there's only ONE OS on the planet that makes it as easy to revert to previous state. Nothing beats that in my eyes.
